Account Manager

As Account Manager, you are responsible for selling and purchasing products and services to existing and prospective customers within North and Middle France. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will focus on the sale of reconditioned Intermediate Bulk Containers (1000L IBCs) and the purchase of used IBCs within the industrial market.

You will work closely with the Sales Manager, Global Key Account Team, and Mauser Account Managers to maintain existing business while identifying and developing new business opportunities.

The position is mainly based for the north/middle part of France.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong communication with existing customers and manage accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and present value propositions to maintain and grow existing business relationships.
  • Identify new leads and actively pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal departments including Production, Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, and Logistics to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Support the Sales Manager and Directors in achieving sales objectives.
  • Prepare detailed price quotations for customers.
  • Create and deliver presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Complete and maintain accurate sales administration, reporting systems, and related documentation.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers within the assigned territory and product segment.

Profile

  • Experience in sales and account management, preferably within an industrial or packaging environment.
  • Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities.
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
  • Fluent in French and English; Dutch is considered a plus.
  • Good organizational and administrative skills.
